The Lizard Peninsula is a truly unspoiled corner of Cornwall. The rugged coastline, dotted with tiny fishing villages and perfect sandy coves, is broken by deeply wooded valleys and the secret splendour of the Helford River - made famous by Daphne du Maurier in the novel "Frenchman`s Creek". It is minutes away by car and easily accessible to walkers. Nationally recognised for rare Fauna and Flora, the area is perfect at any time of the year. Mullion Village and the surrounding area has a good selection of restaurants and pubs as well as a range of interesting shops. The little fishing harbour at Mullion with views of the spectacular coastline is perfect in itself. |
